I'm really disappointed with the showing last night. Of the 15 people that weren't playing and just watching the game, only four were active players. This bothers me b/c a lot of you talk sh!t about I love the league, this and that, but when it comes down to it, you don't have the decency to come show support on the last game of the season. I understand that people have things to do and not everything is about CAL, and if you had something important then this is not geared towards you, but the same way that you scheduled an hour every Wednesday night for the past 11 weeks, I'm sure you could have made time for one more and came to watch your friends play for the championship. This also goes out to the piece of crap committee members that didn't show up, you know who you are. Thanks guys.

Even Joe Q didn't come, and he plays for the team that won. Actually, I think Joe was on a business trip (selfish)...your captain has your trophy and your t-shirt.
Anyway, the new requirement is that anyone participating in the championship game is required to bring at least three guests. Either that, or I should be in every championship game b/c I can bring 20 by myself. Step up hoes!
Anyway, I thikn you need set up an appointment with Ray and take the suggestions being made (within reason) and adhere to them or else thigns will just get worse.
The whole thing he said about the players subbing that aren't in the league, teh whole (list) for new players, etc etc etc..... Especially the fact that our own player didn't show up for the better half of the season but shows up to sub for another team. (I don;t know about you but I would rather have Ernest back) if that **** is not going to be addressed. Oh, and for 3 years now, I have been telling you and Nick to get my cousin and friends to many in the League but for some reason he hasn't gotten in.
Anyway, if you want any structure in this league, schedule that meeting.
Tony, like I explained in my post to Ray, the games subbed by Alex, Nolan and Emil were not playoff deciding games, b/c if they were, they woldn't have subbed.
Especially considering that those subs were made last minute b/c people didn't show up, and these guys were at the gym and available. Regardless, they're still CAL guys, and our friends, so that's why it didn't matter to me that they subbed.
Granted, It's not something that I'd want to happen on a regualr basis, but one time at the end of the season, doesn't hurt anything.
And if I had to, I'd do it again.
However, one thing to your credit, the list that you and Ray compiled actually worked great this year, there needs to be a couple changes to it, but for the most part it was good.
That's the last compliment you'll get from me this year.
The only person you've ever mentioned to me was your buddy Randy, and the guys that have gotten in, with the exception of Marvin, have been waiting longer than him.
Here's a few suggestions, maybe if we found a new gym that wasnt ugly as hell and located in the ghetto (east-side), we would have more people show-up and I wouldnt gag and almost throw-up when i walk in the building cause it smell's worst than tameem's vagina....but no matter how much we got screwed during the playoffs and the committee running CAL worse than the Bush administration, I still love you guys.
