Game 1: In what was a battle inside the war, Jarbo v. JarboU, Napon ultimately sent a message to Tony that he was the best Jarbo in the CAL. Yes yes, we know Tony, you were in help defense b/c I kept blowing by Nolan, so it was not your fault b/c nobody knows how to play defense except you. Nolan did not do the usual jacking up tonight b/c I must say I was pretty efficient in holding him down, but then again, he didnt really do much of anything. Despite playing in the game, i dont really remember much that went on except Nape hitting three after three after three after three after three after three after three (yep, thats 7 of em) on Tony. Oh yeah, sorry I almost forgot, "big softy" aka Derek D played, but he made such a minimal impact on the game that it doesnt really require mentioning. These two teams will meet in a big first round playoff matchup next week
Game 2: In what was the most anticipated matchup of the night, the refs, I mean John Babi took over.... AT THE LINE. Although I believe these new refs have been perfectly fine, I have been complaining about one thing for the last four weeks, and that is they continue to bail him out time after time after time. An obviously frustrated Half Barrel squad could do little but complain about the way the game ended. They managed to put themselves in a position to make the playoffs after starting off horribly at the beginning of the season. Nick way to gather the guys and get them to pull together, but it was just too little too late. John, I hope when I attempt 1 v. 4 (NOTE 1 on 4, NOT 4 on 1) "breakaways" I will just be able to put my head down and pretend like I am trying to get past the goalline and get a foul call to bail me out. But then again, I gotta give him credit for being clutch and making the foul shots, what is he to do, tell the refs not to call the fouls, way to come through to the 500-1 dogs, but you are all still sissy's Samer and I predict Alex's team to spank you guys next week.

Nor did he even make a move to hit any shots. Ask your big men who was picking them up in transition, ultimately leaving Nape open for threes. In the first half, he did nothing adn he had the ball plenty of times. I don't know what happened in the secong half, ooohhh yeah wait, I do know, my team wasn't playing defense. My center wasn't playing like he's 6 foot 5, he was playing like he was 5 foot 6 and I was picking up his man in transition only to be asked, why is Nape open. Listen I played like **** all night on offense and I'll admit that. And yes I did just call out my center Derek. He didn't play like I've seen him play and it put us behind. Derek, I've told you 100 times, throw some ****ing elbows, make the ref call an offensive foul on you if you too, but whatever you do you have to punish these mther ****ers down low. If our offenseis suppossed to revolve around you, you can't be settling for shots from the free throw line and base line! Period!! I'm not blaming the game on Derek at all, myentire team wasn't getting back in transition. Maybe not everyone but it sure seemed like it when I running around like a dog between guys. We played like **** and we know it. I should never only have three points and it should not be a 4 on one or two transition game everytime down the court.

Ziad played excellent defense, Samer coached and was aggressive, Allen hit clutch shots when we needed them, Jeff played another great all around game, and John was John again as he's been all season. I would like to give props also to Nick's team, although it was a bad offciated game both ways, it was a close game and anybody's game the entire time. Congratulations to all the teams that made the playoffs.

Joey, maybe instead of blaming the refs for John B's high percentage of going to the line, you should take a second to think maybe he just cant be stopped. I'd like to give everyone on my team props for playing their hearts out last night and pulling off the victory, Nicks team played well, Tameen I thought had one of his best games, not just scoring but D'ing up and rebounding. Jeff, I think you guys had one of the best teams from the begining. The outside threat of Fadi E and The hustle and consistancy of Jeff o and the leadership of John B, Samer knew what he was doing when he chose his team.
I agree that john B gets fouled alot but if you look at his free throw attempts (86) you wonder if he blows both refs at the same time or if they just like the way hiss ass shakes!

Jeff, on paper, you guys were the worst team you loser. If you would checked the stats from the previous season and tallied points, etc., you guys we the worst team if not second worst. The other thing is that I haven't been doubting you guys week after week. Well actually maybe I have. Up until the last couple weeks, it has been all John B, but you have stepped it up andso have your teammates. Where my team has regressed, you have have progressed but let's not exhale any predictions because you can never inhale the same breath twice.

That's true! Keith had the same team last session and we went to the playoffs and lost in last seconds. I wasn't much of a consistant factor last year but they gained Jalal this session to replace me. Derek was replaced by Tammem. 2-8! Hmmmm, someone explain that to me! On paper and the way people are ranked in this league, Kieth's team was suppossed to be the **** this year. Anyway, chemistry has a lot to do with things and majority of their flaws was exactly that.
