Just to clarify and get this out of the way now b/c we had some confusion with this in the CFL a couple years back and it was a big controversy: I know it is only week 4 but shouldnt we be in 2nd or third? B/c we beat Nick's team out right and we only lost to Elton's team by 2 or 4 I think, so our point differential is better among the 3 teams that are 2-2. Please clarify elton
The standings as they are don't really matter until every team has played each other twice. Then all the factors (overall, head-to-head, point differential) come into play...the tied teams are in random order. I suppose if I were to set it up to reflect actual standings it would leave 5AF at second, LF2 at 3rd, and NCN at 4th. But like I said it doesn't really matter until the final week.
Thanks for completely saying the questoin I asked doesnt matter. That was the whole controversy in the CFL, that the playoff tiebreakers were not explained in advance. I think determining who makes the playoffs on what you "suppose" might make a few people mad at the end of the season. This way everybody knows in advance the format and can ask whatever questions they want and whoever does not ask, their fault. Maybe set up a "rules" link on the home page so that we have it for every season. All your life I am going to be teaching you joker committee members how to do things.
I didn't say that your question doesn't matter, I just said that your entire thought process and your entire life for that matter is insignificant.
Joey, listen, I know that you're top ten in scoring now, and your team won a couple of games and all of the sudden n!ggaz don't know how to act... that's great, I'm proud of you, I attribute that to your hard work and dedication. But flat out, there are no new people in the league, you've been in the playoffs a few times yourself, I think you or anybody else should know by now what determines tie breakers and playoff seeding in this league. Just keep trying to win and don't worry about how much you beat a team by or need to beat them by until that time comes.
p.s. if you ever went to the home page you'd realize that there is a rules link, so in the mean time don't worry too much about teaching us "joker" committe members how to do things, but rather try to learn from us and win a championship once in your life.
