I've always told my close friends in the league that I love this league because in my opinion, it's a league of good people with pride, self respect, sportsmanship & respect for others. It's very nice to run in to people from the league at different places and say hi, also I've met a lot of good people in this league that I wouldn't have got to know otherwise.
I understand that people in the league have their differences, some people don't care for others and that's fine. For instance, I don't care too much for Tony A., he's not nice, he's not very approachable, he talks a lot of **** on the court and to me he comes off as an *******. But on the other hand, other people like him (not to say that I hate him or anything), I see him joking around with other people, people that know him say he's nice, so I have no problem with him. He's overall a good guy most likely, I just haven't seen it.
What I'm trying to say is this league is made up of good people from top to bottom. There are no thugs in this league, it's a league of guys who are competitive, want to have fun, and really have a lot in common. I think that fact has been lost on everyone, and it was very evident in last night's games. We need to focus on having fun, being competitive & dropping all the extra bull****. This is a basketball league not a soap opera and I hope I never see anything like last night again.
Yones, Im actually a pretty nice guy, when people aren't taking cheap shots at me and talking **** to me that has nothing to do with basketball. Trevor and I both got kicked out of the game I walked off the court, I did not say anthing to the referee, and sat down against the bleachers. The Babi's are the ones that came up to me and started everything over again.
On the other hand, I do think this is a very well run league, I usually brag about how well it is run compared to the other leagues I play in, and sometimes even use ideas that are used in CAL to help other leagues run better.
As far as trash talking, anything I ever say on the court has to do with basketball, I never get personal with anyone, I don't call people names and I certainly would never disrespect anyone. I have a great deal of respect for everyone in the league.Two examples are Nate and Joe K, we have probably talked more **** when we play against each other than anyone else, but it never goes too far, becauswe we have a certain respect for each other, and we leave what happened on the court on the court. The truth is I play hard, I play to win, and if that makes me come off as an "*******" on the court im sorry, but it doesn't make me an ashhole off the court.
Also expect for Trevor, I haven't had any problems with anyone in the league, I never talk **** to the referees, I enjoy playing in the league, and I will do my best not to let that ever happen again, It is embarrassing for me and not a true sign of my character.
If the commitee thinks this league would be better without me, than just let me know and I won't play anymore.

TONY A, why is it exactly that you have respect for Joey and nate? Dani, I disagree. I think if we put you in an elementary school league, you might be able to start. Maybe even find your way into the paing once in a while. As for Joey instigating, I just don't see it. Yono, that was one of the funniest posts I've ever seen. Tony A, you should try to make yourself more approachable
Tony A., my point was that if you were truly a thug, if you were truly a punk, if you were truly an *******, you would not have been invited into this league in the first place. By no means was I saying that anything that happened last week was your fault. I'm saying that I don't care who's fault it is, I just want the fights and extra bull**** to stop. And you're right people shouldn't get personal, I would have a hard time if someone got personal with me.
Sorry if it came off like I was throwing you under the bus, that was not the purpose of my post. My purpose was to say that not everyone is best friends in the league, but everyone should show respect to everyone else.
I don't think that kicking you or anyone else out of the league is a solution. You're a great talent and you make this league better.
