Ray has already received this text from me, and he is a quitter. While I agree with him that the committee does have it's fair share of idiots (Nick and Samer in particular), I dont think he would consider quitting if he didnt waste his entire season by drafting Nick with #1 overall and Jeter and Ernest with his next two picks that has now led to a 2-6 record.
He is not being treated like a kid, he is being treated like an adult by being expected to respect the game and rules of the league.
I have recently been informed that I will be a ref tonight, so as an advance warning, let one of you lil girls say something tonight and you will see that it is not only the NBA that has instituted a more strict tech rule, but so has CAL.
I do have to admit that Ray was definetly an idiot last week and under normal circumstances should deserve a suspension. He is a loud mouth idiot that always seems to make an argument with the words, "I am a grown ass man, OR I will crack your ****ing head open". However, I think that Ray's suspension can be over looked for the simple fact that the Refs were relieved of their effortless duties due to not only Ray's frustration over the years but everyone elses.
If you are going fire the refs for their (actually just that mother****er Jason) lack of respect for the players of the league, then why would you suspend Ray for making the decision easy for you comittee members. Majority of the players have stressed their hatred for Jason but nothing has ever been done about it. Anyway, I think Ray's suspension could have been overlooked and someone could have ust had a talk with Ray.
Now, For John Babi to be suspended because he recieved his second technical for simply cursing himself (under his breath) for missing a shot, I think is the stupiest thing ever. Especially when we had to play a game after Ray's outburst and the refs lack of patience due to Ray's stupidity.
For Trevor's 2 game suspension. That is dumb too. Him and Tony A got tossed from the game wrongfully. Everyone knows that. Even Keith knows it. Now if the reasoning for the second game suspension is becasue he still was going at it "once he walked off the court" is stupid. They were still in the mist of their argument and to say, "Well, they were off the court" and that's taking it beyond the game, IS STUPID!!!!!!!!!
I wanna say something to the guys that are complaining about the job we do as the committee, and to the people that are calling us idiots...isn't it ironic how someone can call us idiots when they get three techs in a single game (I didn't even know that was possible)?
And about your complaint about being treated like a child...for future reference, if you don't want to be treated like a child, don't act like one.
Moving on, guys, its not easy trying to make everyone happy, we do the best we can. There are 36 people all with different opinions, all we can do is listen and come up with the best solution. For example, you guys were complaining about the refs so we decided to replace them, maybe it took too long to do, but honestly its hard to tell because, people have complained about every ref we have had.
Another thing boys, I hear a lot of guys that say they are sick of the league, with all due respect, if your sick of it, just leave, there are a lot of people that show up every week that love the league, there is no reason for you guys to ruin it for others that enjoy being there, by just showing up and making a mockery of the league. And lately that's what some people have been doing.
Jarbou, for once you raise a point I have contemplated in my head all day, I think I am going to throw up. The reasoning that 1) the refs did get fired/quit and 2) that they left on their own and disrespected the league, probably should have been considered in suspending Ray.
I didnt post that all day b/c 1) I hate Ray and 2) everybody would just assume i was making the exception b/c he is my friend (yep, the throw up is in my mouth).
