For anyone interested,

I recently read an article in the Chaldean News that mentioned a non-profit organization that distributes food and other items to people in need in Southeast Michigan.  Their website is www.gcfb.org  Their goal is to raise a million dollars by the end of December (http://www.gcfb.org/site/PageServer?pagename=minutemillion) and use it to help feed needy families this holiday season.  Since this is a time of giving, I was hoping that anyone who is able, please donate time or money to this organization, or really any organization for that matter that helps feed the hungry and keep people warm this winter and all year long.

If anybody knows of any soup kitchens, shelters or non-profit organizations that do work in the community and need volunteers or donations, please don't hesitate to list them.

We are all very fortunate and it wouldn't hurt to give back.
