I think we should have an all star game at the end of the season within the CAL...it would be hadeed because it would showcase the full talent of CAL, and would be FUN AS HELL to watch and play in...plus, players from all the different teams throughout the season could have a chance to play on the same team and compete together for one game, it would be sweet to see guys who talk smack all season long to play on the same team at the end...another thing is that it would give the players from non-playoff contending teams a chance to be involved in a game at the end of the season.
It would be a fun thing to do, we can have a voting system like each player casts votes for a player other than themselves to play in the game...or it could be the captains of each team selects the players, or both...we can figure it out. let me know what you guys think!!!!
I agree...as far as the voting for this, we'll have everybody place their vote on a paper ballot rather than online to give the guys that don't use the site a chance to let their voice be heard. We can do it right before the three point contast at the end of the season...or maybe make it a separate day b/c of the intensity of the finals. Keep talking about we'll see what other potential scenarios come up!
I THINK THE IDEA SUCKS, NO OFFENSE TO TAMEEM, BUT IT'S NOT LIKE THERE'S GONNA BE DUNKING OR ANYTHING. IT'S GONNA BE THE SAME AMOUNT OF SKILL INVOLVED IN AN EVERYDAY GAME, WITHOUT THE INTENSITY OR ANY MEANING. IT'LL BE BORING, BUT IF YOU GUYS WANNA HAVE IT, WHO AM I TO ARGUE. I'D RATHER SEE EVERYONE STICK AROUND FOR THE THREE POINT CONTEST. MOST PEOPLE DON'T STICK AROUND, IF THEY DID, THEY'D SEE HOW FUN IT IS TALKING SMACK TO EACH OTHER, MAKING FUN OF EACH OTHER, AND PLUS IT'S USUALLY ONE OF TWO GUYS SHOOTING AT ONE TIME, AND THE REST OF THE GUYS HANGING OUT. PEOPLE DON'T EVEN COME FOR THAT TO HANG OUT, WHY WOULD THEY COME TO WATCH A MEANINGLESS GAME.

Ray, one, don't be upset that you wouldnt make the team, and two, you are wrong it wouldnt be the same skill, it would be the best players at each position playing on the same team... So instead of a lineup that might have two good players (Keith and Jalal) playing with a scrub for a big man (you) and a tall kid with little game (Tameem) they might get a chance to play with skilled guys like John B and Fadi, or one of the Dereks, making for a more competitive game...
