Thats right boys, the weekly recap, since its late and I need sleep, lets just skip the intro and jump into things
The first game of the night showed the signs of a true dynasty in the making as the KINGS extended their undefeated streak by beating the WOmen in PINK. It was a poorly executed game on the Kings part, but we made the plays down the stretch. I personally played a **** poor game as I not only got busted by my gengivitis fighting cousin but he also blocked me, and not tony you fag whatever play you are talkin about never happened, so you didnt block me. In spite of my poor performance we were able to rely on Fadi coming through in the clutch like a true MVP, Napon hitting some big shots and proving who the best Jarbo around is, and Mike came through with some clutch layups too. Samer and Jeff, thank you guys for your efforts, it was greatly appreciated, however I cannot compliment you b/c you are not on our team. Now for the flip side of the story, to sum it up in what Tony's EXCUSE is going to be "that c0cksuckin curly haired ref blows, he made the worst calls, he should have blown the whistle 50 times more than he did, all 50 of which should have been against you guys, b/c we never commit one foul even when I rake joey across his face and Derrick uses one arm to reach up for the ball while the other arm is used to push his opponent in the back, its all clean on our part." Thas a wrap for this one
In game two, there was actually a Nick Ammori siting, unfortunately he was spotted with his brother Ameel and Dave on his team. Dave, I know I miss free throws, "but we talkin bout layups, layups...we talkin bout layups, not a jump shot, or a three pointer, we talkin bout layups." Ameel, I did notice something that improved your game tonight though and that can really contribute to your teams success, you checked yourself out of the game. Since we are officially halfway through the season, I would like to nominate Nouri for Cherry Picker of the Year, which I think he should win by a landslide. And Derek P, well, with how mad he was, I aint gonna talk about him, b/c that ni$$a had a postal look in his eye tonight. Samer, dont worry, I wont forget you, HE BLOCKED THE F*CK OUTTA NOURI. I almost forgot, did anybody know that Fadi Eliyah is still in the league, b/c he just showed up tonight and started playing like he walked into the gym and asked, "who's got next, can I run with you?" Hey Doc, this aint a pick up game, show up. And in case any of you care, the game was close throughout, the tapped out barrels choked down the stretch, and Samers team won... And for whichever DUMBA*S gave Samers team the lowest odds to win it all this year, suck C*CK!!!
And in the final game of the night, Alex's team won in overtime
On a more serious note, I am not pointing fingers, but I think it's stupid that anybody out here takes this stuff serious enough to start throwing punches (or chairs), I will be the first to tell you that competing matters, but nothing is more important than respect for each other. myself and plenty others talk SH!t to each other, but thats all it is, in fun and games, when it comes to physically attacking each other, we need to really sit down and reevaluate why we play in this league. For those of you that dont know, a fight broke out after our game b/t a few players, no need for names to be mentioned, and it was just an overall silly and embarrassing scene for all of CAL, as this seems to happen each session that I have been a part of. I am saying that we are all men here, and on the court we are all equals, and even more importantly friends, there should never be an actual fight, especially after a game is over and done, what happens on the court should stay on the court in a respectful and responsible manner.
Joey, you can suck my cock about that ref comment. Ask Keith, ask Zeke, ask Ray, ask amyone who played a game after ours. When I am slapping the chit out of Fadi in the open court for an obvious foul and it is not caled and 10 seconds is taken off the game with a minute to go, I don't what else to do but complain. Zeke and Ray got hammered on two particular plays last night and the refs comment is "look at the fouls your teams have" I am making calls. That was the stupidest thing I had ever heard in my life. A foul is a foul!! Don't let a call go. Especially the two I'm talking about. I don't care if the fouls read 20 to 20, if it's obviously a foul, make the call.... I'm not saying that theref lost the game for us be he sure as hell made it diffivault for us to extend out 7 point lead with 5 minutes to go. Derek tries to block Fadi's shot, oops lets call a foul. On the other side of teh court, Derek get s the ball in the post, gets triple teamed and smacked around like a 2 dollar whore that up a dollar short and we get the look of oh well.. Good game by the Fadi..
Napon hit two open three pointers on Marslino. Nothing after I guarded him. Much like when I was guarding you and youcried because my D was too physical for you adn you couldn't do ****. The block I was talking about last night is when you were on a vreak away and I had my back to you and then I finally turned around to snatch the ball right out of the air when you went up for a lay up. Of course you DON'T want to remeber that.
Listen, I'm not one to blame my **** night on a ref but he had a lot to do with a lot of bull**** last night. With a 7 point lead, there was no reason to play zone when we had you losers on lock in man to man defense BUT my captain that couldn't make the game with pre game notification to his team, decided to tell us to play zone when he wasn;t there to observe the entire game. The 2 leading scorers on the team only get 8 and 10 points last night... We'll fix that though, we'll bounce back.. All we hav to do is make the playoffsw which will happen.
