I know this is an old issue, but it continues to arise week after week. I said it was ridiculous the first week that somebody requested their game to be switched b/c a player cant make it. Now, every week since at least one team has requested a switch and made sh!t difficult for no reason. Our team has been prettty flexible to this point, and most everybody has been reasonable. Now I dont mean to call you out or anything Fadi E, but it just happens that you are the reason for our switch again. I have barely slept this entire week and last for that matter, I am in the library as I type this and irritated that I operatine on 6 hours of a sleep a night b/c I spend 6 hours in class almost every day and another 6-8 in the library but I never once have requested a time switch b/c "I am tired" or "have to wake up early." WHen this came up before Fadi said Law School is a joke, well thats fine, he can say what he wants, but it aint to me, and just like everybody else in this league, I got my agenda to go by, and when the schedule of our games says 9 i expect to play at nine, not have E call me and say our game is switched to 11 the night before, thats bullsh!t b/c nobody is above the league, and while some may think it is ok to inconvenience everybody else b/c they believe their personal life is more important than everybody elses I feel that's bullsh!t. Like I said, i have not fought time switches, but you know what we seem to be the team that gets the sh!t end of the stick when time switches happen and I am sick of it, E, Nick, Kieth, Nolan, Alex and Samer, you guys need to address this issue, make a schedule and stick to it, players cant make it, DONT JOIN THE LEAGUE, it is not a surprise to anybody that our games are Weds at 9 10 and 11, so it just doesnt make sense how somebody can know they are not going to be able to make it but just expect the league will revolve around their schedule so that they can make it, that is my two cents for the day, if the switch tonight is absolutely necessary, if Fadi really cant manage on one hour less of sleep like the rest of us will have to, fine, but seriously, this should be the last time, i am tellin you now E, whether its our players who cant make it or another teams, DONT EVEN ASK ME, the answer is NO!
Joey, Seriously, chill the hell out, all b/c you lost last week doesn’t mean you can still take it out on everyone else. Did u notice you’re the only one complaining about the time change??? I swear to GOD, if anyone wanted me to switch to a damn 2am game I’ll do it, b/c I am able to, please don’t bitch if you can do it. I know Fadi, by no means is he saying his personal life is more important then anyone else’s. We’ve asked you 1 time to switch your game to 11pm and this is the second time. Just make sure you have your head in the game today, so Nick doesn’t drop 20 on yo ass…
I just want to start out saying that I thank everyone who was able to switch the game tonight (including Joey). Obviously Joey does not know me well, b/c in no way at all do I feel I'm above or better than anyone inthe league or the world for that matter. I would do anything for anyone in this league if they asked me too and all my friends would vouch for that. I only asked Samer and Elton if it was possible for them to switch our game, I asked once and once only, I didnt beg or make a big deal out of it, but because they're good guys they did the best they could to switch our game. I was only joking when I said your school is a joke and iI know that you know I was joking. But if you feel very strongly about not switching then dont switch, I promise you I wont bitch about it or think anything about you, you're still my boy, honestly. I wont go into how many hours I work and the studying I have to do when I get home too b/c that doesnt really matter, its my problem and no one elses, I just ask if the other teams can switch and if they cant, I wont be able to make it and I wont lose any sleep over it. But I love playing in the league and I wont quit b/c even playing 2 games in the whole season is worth it for me. Next wednesday I have the following day off so if you want to move our game up to 11 or 3 in the morning Ill do it. And honestly, 1 hour of sleep makes a big difference when you only get 4 to maybe 5 hours on a good day of sleep a night.
Let me sum up part of what Joey means in a respectable manner.
It's not right if someone wants their game switched because they want to get an extra hour of sleep. If that's the case, take a nap before your game. If anyone needs to be accomidated, it should be Sinan, from what I hear, homeboy wakes up at 5 a.m. every morning and works 12 hours, plays in the cfl, cal, and occasionally has time to play with his balls.
Joey is right though, If Fadi can make it one week, why can't he make it every week? Does his schedule change every week? If so, his team has to live with that and live with his absence. Samer, I'm like you, I'm willing to accomidate if able to myself but again, JOey is right if the reason is that Fadi wants to get home early adn go to sleep earlier. Especially when he stays for the first 10 minutes of the game after his.
I'm not hating on you Fadi, but Joey sounded like a moran and I didn't want my boys statement to go on misunderstood.
Fadi, it wasn't a direct attack on you and I wasnt saying you think your better than anybody or anything. I have not given E sh!t about switching one time, ask him, any time I have commented on the subject it has been a general comment to the league. My point to you Fadi is you agreed to playing this session knowing in advance that you would have 11 o'clock games on your schedule, and if there was three or four games that were at that time maybe the best decision was not playing this session. Is it really fair to other teams for you to want everybody to switch those four weeks or to your team if you cant make it??? I know you care about the league and your a good guy, but thats not what this is about. Look at Joe Q, he might have been able to make it to all 11 o clock games, but he didnt say he would play then request to have his games switched to later times, there is nothing wrong with taking a session off, as a matter of fact I did it the first session when Nick told me to play, I tol dhim I couldnt make it to all the games, and I didnt want to short change my team.
And Samer, you can say what you want, but I know this is AT LEAST the 3rd time E has asked me to switch and NOT ONCE did I even argue for a second, you all know I usually stay for most games. But my point is to the league, things will come up, a player cant make it once and while, and thats life, its just a basketball game,, if its for a good reason and everyone can switch than fine, but to expect to not play one game at 11 b/c of a lack of sleep is not fair to the rest of us. Cenan gets as little sleep as anybody, but he doesnt check the site and when he heard about this he said "thats bull****," b/c he has not once complained, he knew what he was obligating himself to before joining. That said, I told E tonight since he already told you the switch is ok, thats fine, I left the library and I am gonna sleep for an hour before the game. Dont make it like I am whining or any of that, b/c I am the most reasonable person to work with, I just ask that people be reasonable when dealing with me. I think it is unreasonable to ask each time a game is at 11 that a game be switched b/c of somebody's lack of sleep, and just b/c I am the only one who posts it, dont think I am the only one who thinks it. Samer, if you cant see how that would be a bit unfair, then thats your own ignorant narrow minded problem, and I also think you would understand a bit more if Fadi was not on your team
but joey, since I am the one who got u into the league, please show some consideration when you post a message. you are embarrasing me every time you talk. it is bad enough I have to hear you complain the whole time you are on the court, but when i get home, I do not want to hear your ****. as for you tony, I have nothing but love for you playa.
P.S. even though it does not seem like it, I do agree with joey. we should not make any time changes. even though I am there all night, I feel bad telling my players about the change. Emil was bitching at me all day because now he is going to get only 12 hours of sleep at night instead of his usual 13. because of that he is taking a 2 hour nap before the game tonight. JOEY, I AGREE WITH YOU IF THIS WAS ANY OTHER LEAGUE, CAUSE YOU'RE MAKING GOOD POINTS. HOWEVER, IN A LEAGUE LIKE THIS WHERE EVERYONE IS FARELY CLOSE, AND WE ARE ALL FRIENDS, FOR THE MOST PART, I THINK THAT ASKING FOR TIME CHANGES IS NOT A VERY BIG DEAL. YOU CAN SAY "IF YOU CAN'T MAKE CERTAIN GAMES, DON'T JOIN THE LEAGUE THAT SEASON". YEAH, BUT INSTEAD OF SOMEONE NOT JOINING FOR THAT SEASON, IF WE CAN ALL COMPROMISE AND KEEP THAT PERSON IN, I THINK THAT'S A BETTER WAY OF GOING ABOUT THINS. THAT'S WHAT THIS LEAGUE IS ABOUT, AND I THINK THAT SHOWS EVERYONE THAT WE'RE NOT HERE JUST TO PLAY BASKETBALL AND DICTATE, BUT WE'RE HERE TO HAVE FUN AND KEEP EVERYONE INVOLVED. IF SOMEONE ASKED ME, CAN YOU SWITCH A FEW GAMES AROUND, OR ELSE FADI CAN'T PLAY THIS SEASON, I'LL SWITCH A FEW GAMES AROUND. IF ANYONE OF US HAD A BOOTY CALL THAT NIGHT, WE'D BE SURE TO STAY UP LATE FOR THAT, REGARDLESS OF WHAT TMIE WE HAD TO WAKE UP, SO WHY NOT STAY UP A LITTLE LATER FOR A FRIEND. Joey, normally I don't disagree with anyone that plays on my team unless it's Fadi, but Ray does have a point, even though he didn't score any last night like Dani pointed out, he's right. I like sticking to schedules as much as the next guy, but if I can compromise to help somebody out and it's not going to totally destroy me, I'll do it so that they could play, and hopefully they would do the same for me. Or if they didn't do the same for me, I'd be like eat sh!t Nick, or f**k you Samer, or Nolan/Alex/Keith BLOW ME...you did have valid points about taking others into consideration, b/c you never complained to me about switching but just wanted it to be fair all around. Anyway, I don't give a f**k, all you guys can kiss my black @$$...I can't believe I lost two f**king games.

Why can you not believe you lost 2 games? Your team has been exposed for what you guys really are without Fadi. What's ****ed up is that you guys still have good players on your team and you guys look like **** without Fadi in the line up. Also, if Joey would stop complaining so much adn drag the rest of your team into that mind set, maybe your team would actuallyhave their mind on basketball rather then complaining. I just think it's funy that you nech Elton, suspend him for two games, talk **** to me about my game, and your actions of commissioner have just exposed your value of a leading center to a basketball team.
