Hey fellas some of you know and some of you don't. First and foremost i would like to thank the guys in charge of C.A.L for letting me promote our new basketball league that is starting soon.  Our league tryouts will be November 23rd 2004 at the YMCA in Warren located on Common rd. off of Van Dyke Between 12 mile and 13 mile.  We are looking for 56 ball players to accomodate 8 teams that will be part of this league.  This is a league we have been trying to establish for almost 2 years however getting a facility is a huge factor, however we are now ready to get going and we are looking for true talent and I hear C.A.L. has lots of talent.  This league is not here to take away from C.A.L, but to expand leagues so our people participate within our community instead of outside the community.  The League is called the Babylonian Basketball League hosted by the Babylonian Athletic Club of Michigan.  There is a $10.00 tryout fee if you make any of the 8 teams the fee will go towards your league dues.  If you have any questions feel free to contact me at ashorchamoun@hotmail.com or you can talk to Steve Tamou who is involved in your league he is a committee member in our league.
