Well this week really shook up the playoff picture, as we, THE KINGS, clinched first with the W and Kieth was officially eliminated in week four, but the other four teams are vying for those other three spots behind us.
Game 1: Everybody be alert, the spirit of Nick's past has taken over his body of present and he is starting to actually play like, dare I say it, a POINT GUARD. Nick, I dog you enough, I need to give you credit when credit is do, you played great tonight and led your team to a victory and you guys are right back in the mix of things. However, there were still those parts of your teams game that deserve criticism. 1st, NO D + Cherry Picking= N_ _ _ I O_ _ W. The second thing wrong with your team is Ameel, nothing in particular, just the fact that you have him on your team. Brian hope your ankle gets better. As for Alex's team, it is obvious the absence of ROY front runner (despite being 37 yrs Old) Zeke was a huge blow, especially since he enters the paint, to Derek D (who filled in for Zeke) that is the area painted black inside the three point line and in the shape of a rectangle. Nate also did not have Zeke to put him on a leash and went back to his old ways of "shoot, Shoot, think about passing, and shoot." Cenan gave a valiant effort to bring them back, but fell short in his efforts. Now that I think about it, this might have been the second game
Game 1 or 2: In Ron Artest, I mean Tony's absence, Nolan's team some how managed to come away with the victory over Samer's overhyped, shoulder droppin, time changing ReaLLY "never been to the city of" Detroit team. They are now on the playoff bubble and could join Kieths team, we'll get to them later, as the two teams not in the playoffs for this years postseason. I mean, what needs to be said about this on, John B. shot 34 attempts, Fadi E was about to fall asleep on the court, Samer closed his eyes and swatted at every arm hoping to hit the ball and claim he intended to block the shot, and Jeff hustled. On the other side, Derek was soft, Nolan shot 37 times b/c he refused to let anybody on either team have more attempts, Danny wondered if he was going to get a kick out and Nolan chewed out Mars for being the only guy hustling
Game 3: The Kings got things back together right in time to get rolling into the playoffs. WE clinched first seed tonight, which means nothing at all, so dont get complacent Kings. Reigning MVP Fadi showed us why he holds the title to those three letters, I missed 64 free throws, but I did make one, Nabe continued to score, Mike played great D and finally shot like I want him to shoot, Jimmy did his thing on the boards and running the floor, and the player of the game goes to E Train, who got things going for us whenever we needed a spark, whether it wa son the offensive glass or at the line, great game E. For the other side, Kieth actually made a couple of threes tonight that were from the parking lot, but missed a ton more that were from 7 mile. Jalal outrebounded every player combined in every game and Temeem had a nice game, especially compared to the rest of the squad. Ray, well good game Ray, Clint and Steve. See you guys next session
Hey joey thanks for the propts, first you said we had a better chance of hitting the mega-millions then doing anything, and now your saying we are the more overhyped team out there, thank you, I guess ....for those of you who are wondering why I am still awake, tomorrow is national nergila day, (and a day off), and we're gonna try Strawberry Daquari, hadeed...nergila, nergila, she reminds me of a west side story....
Yea, we played horrible, as the cap I will be the first to take the blame, defense was crappy as was the offense, but seriously, jeff good sh!it on the boards bro, those are some sick hops...
Ps. if anyone talks to Tony and Zeke before they read this, tell them I am sorry to hear about their friend, seriously that sucks really bad man.
It's nice to know that I'm not the only one that's awake now. Sup boys...Good job Kings, you guys really played like a team today. Sorry it took so long for me to show up, I think the new lights had something to do with it. Joey hit it on the head pretty much with everything he said, except for that complacent thing, why do you have to make me do extra by looking up this word right now...self-satisfied and unconcerned, thanks a lot @$$hole! Joey great job on expanding the league's vocabulary and holding down the point. Fadi, what can I say man...consistency, everybody has a good game, but only few people have consecutively great games. Mike, man, what can I say...your defense was great, you did a better job than me by far and with the few touches you got hit the clutch shots. I fit wasn't for you and Jimmy playing solid D on their best offensive producers, it might have been a different story for us. Way to be tough Jimbo. Big Nape, solid play, rotating the point, and getting things done, all important aspects of a good player...you kept your head in the game and played hard throughout...good work. Supermen, you guys played hard and it showed, right down the line, Keith, J, Tameem, Ray, Steve and Clint...and T, you did well man, keep it up.
Salami, chin up baby, there's still week ten...by the way, I can change the name if you guys want, but I need a signed petition from each of your players stating that their ok with the name change...once we get those we'll have our team of CAL lawyers look at the paperwork and you'll be good to go.
I want to join Samer in sending my condolences and I'm sure a host of other guys send their regards as well that have heard about the recent passing away of Tony and Zeke's friend, may his soul rest in peace.
Do you even really watch the games? everytime I saw you u were d!ckin around on the other end of the gym practicing freethrows. Alex told me to grab boards (I grabbed every board in that b!tch) and hold down Derek P. which is exactly what I did. I like your weekly ESPN thing, I think its funny, but atleast watch the games young man If your gonna take shots at everyone. Plus Nolan played great! he never missed last night.
ps I think this new ref was great, its nice to see the freethrow line again. what are your thoughts on him, Joey?
