Elton, have the network administrator to run a query on the Static IP Address from this F.U.C.K C.A.L. Once you get the IP address, let me know what it is and the broadband group at my company can tell me the physical address of where the IP is originating from and the name listed at that location. We all know where each other lives, works, etc. It'll just be a matter of process of elimination from there.
Elton, is it safe to say that if this **** doesn't come forth by his next post, he will be suspended for next season once we pin point who it is?
Also, E, is it possible to have individual usernames and/or passwords for the message board? Atleast a password and that'll elimate this in the future. We'll know by user log in!!

Hey Tony, what if he is using DHCP, then we'll never find it, b/c the IP will constantly be changing, unless they have a network and have a router in front, b/c that IP will be static.

username/passwords: yes, but I wonder if they can still change the name on the post, which wouldn't make the situation resolved
Block IP address: yes, then whoever isn't on the site as much as they use to be could be considered the culprit? How does IP address work, is that like a fingerprint unique to every pc or is it more like the location from where you are surfing (i.e. if I'm using a pc from school and the ip is blocked by the MB, would it be possible to login from another pc)? If this is the case, then blocking the IP wouldn't be effective unless somone was using their home pc or singular work pc.
network admin: not sure if he can do that b/c the MB is run through a seperate website
anyway, I think I've put too much thought into this, it's too early in the morning and my head hurts...if you guys want usernames/passwords, let me know tonight and I'll add them by the weekend.
E, if you ad username and passwords, wouldn't yuo be aboe to tell when everyone logged on. All you would have to do then is match log in times with message post times!

Websites cant block IP's. Getting a username/passwd would be the best way, b/c we would have to create and distribute the accouts to each player, and then people outside of CAL would have a view access where they would go on the website and just view the comments and not be able to type anything, but this MB doesnt allow to create individual accounts, so we will have to find another MB site....wow I am bored as f*ck at work.
