Okay you wanna be Tiger Woods. Who can hit a pitch shot like he did for birdie........Who could hav emade that birdie putt in sudden death to win their 3rd green jacket!!!!!!!! Arab cutah, I'm hoping we don't get kicked off the course for huge divits. Anyway, I am bringing a sign in sheet for anyone that wants to participate in a C.A.L. golf outing.
It will be Saturday, April 30th. 3 days after our championship game. I am thinking Shanendoah. Once I know how many players, I wll call and negotiate a rate if possible. If you are members, I will have a box you can check on the sign in sheet. I think it'll be a great way to clos eout the season of C.A.L. We can eat and drink there as well.
That sounds like a great idea...so who's going to help me prepare for CAL golf day? I hope my dad lets me borrow his clubs...which reminds me of a funny story...my dad and I are driving down van dyke one day last summer, and we were passing by butterflies, many of you may remember that as the spot the kids use to skip to back in the day...anyway, I'm like "Bob", Bob is not really his name by the way, that's just what I call him, you know, like Bob...anyway, I was asking him if he wanted to go to the driving range over there, he agreed so we went...we set up, everything was going decent, I'm still very new at it so he's coaching me and so on and so forth...so me being the bad ass that I am, I'm like ok Bob, I think I got it...so I wind up and take a mighty swing at the ball, completely miss it, mind you it is a bi-level range and the distance between the 1st and 2nd floor is very short, leaving me minimal room to finish my swing. So at the end of my swing the club head connects to the platform above me knocking at an impressive distance away which surpassed any ball that I hit that day. My dad stops, looks at me and starts laughing and says, "it's not like basketball is it?"
